Responsible play
There's no real money at Bracken Arcade, but the games use the same reel mechanics people know from gambling. So we take this seriously, even here.
Our ground rules
- 18+ only. Minors must not use this site. If you're under 18, please close the page.
- Credits are worthless, on purpose. You can't pay for them, win them, cash them in or trade them, and nothing here is a prize of monetary value.
- It isn't practice. Free demos don't teach you anything useful about gambling with real money, and doing well here says nothing about how you'd get on elsewhere.
Habits that keep it fun
- Pick an end time before the first spin. A phone timer works fine. When it goes off, finish up.
- Take regular breaks. Get up, have a drink of water, look at something that isn't a screen.
- Don't play when you're stressed, low, tired or have had a few drinks. Games are rubbish at fixing bad days.
- Use autoplay sparingly. Watching each spin keeps you in control of the pace and the time.
- Keep the rest of life in the mix. Friends, sleep, food, fresh air and work come first.
- Talk to someone. If something feels off, say it out loud to a friend, a family member or one of the services below.
A quick self-check
Be honest with yourself. Over the last while:
- Have you played for longer than you meant to, more than once?
- Do you get narky or on edge when you can't play?
- Are you using games to escape worries or a low mood?
- Have you kept quiet about the hours going into games?
- Has gambling with real money started to creep in, or crossed your mind because of games like these?
- Has someone close to you said they're worried?
Even a single yes is worth a chat with someone. It doesn't mean something is wrong; it means you're paying attention, which is a good thing.
